Overview
DAY 1: Arrival in los Llanos, at the El Encanto de Guanapalo nature reserve.
DAY 2: Trip in curiara, traditional canoe and safari llanero to observe animals.
DAY 3:Horseback ride to observe animals and myths and legends evening.
DAY 4: Return to the city of origin.
Day 1: THE EL ENCANTO DE GUANAPALO RESERVE
El Encanto de Guanapalo is a 9,000 hectare nature reserve, legacy of the Zambrano family. It has 3 hatos or typical houses to accommodate visitors.
- Arrival by plane to Yopal, the capital of Casanare.
- Welcome at the airport and transfer by 4×4 to El Encanto de Guanapalo located in the municipality of San Luis de Palenque.
- Installation in one of the three “Hato”: Mata de Palma, Altamira and/or Montana.
- Delicious typical lunch cooked on site.
- Tractor safari in search of wild animals.
- Return to the reserve and dinner.
- Night in Guanapalo.
Day 2: LOS LLANOS SAFARI
The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including local birds that inhabit the floodplains of the reserve. It is a very well preserved ecosystem.
- Start of the day with the guide to learn how to milk a cow!
- Trip in a curiara, a traditional canoe for artisanal fishing.
- Lunch in the hato.
- 2nd Safari Llanero to observe animals, but this time in 4×4.
- Evening of sharing on myths and legends typical of this region of Colombia.
- Dinner.
- Night in Guanapalo.
Day 3: GASTRONOMY LLANERA
- Workshop on local gastronomy which is very rich in flavors.
- Lunch.
- Horseback or 4×4 ride to the other hatos to really discover the llanera culture.
- Dinner.
- Night in Guanapalo.
Day 4: 2,600 METERS CLOSER TO THE STARS
Return to Bogota, the capital of Colombia, which is after La Paz and Quito, the 3rd highest capital in the world.
- Transfer to Yopal airport to return to Bogota.
- Flight to Bogota.

3 nights accommodation in a double room.
Full board during the entire stay.
